Volvo CE integrates excavators with Rototilt tech

Volvo Construction Equipment has partnered with attachments specialist Rototilt to manufacture excavators that are already able to accept a Rototilt tiltrotator system.

The worldwide development agreement will see Rototilt’s control systems and sensors integrated with Volvo’s Dig Assist excavation system, which will allow the technologies to communicate.

According to Rototilt, the collaboration will give end-customers the opportunity to “more easily choose a Rototilt tiltrotator with all its smart functions”.
