Video | JCB’s Hydromax car and how it could shape hydrogen engines for construction

UK-based construction equipment manufacturer JCB yesterday (16 June) got its hydrogen-powered Hydromax car up to a speed of 177mph, as it prepares for a speed record bid on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, USA, in August.

The car’s development comes two decades on from JCB breaking the land speed record at Bonneville with Dieselmax, powered by two race-adapted diesel engines.
