The AggreScrub P80 has been developed as a wet processing solution for construction and demolition waste, excavation material and aggregate applications.
Mounted on a single modular chassis, the plant integrates pre-screening, logwasher scrubbing, post-screening, contaminant removal and slurry management into one system, designed to maximise throughput and uptime while improving material separation.
Paul Carolan, recently appointed business line director for Terex Washing Systems, said the launch reflected growing demand for compact, high-throughput wet processing systems capable of handling heavily contaminated feed material.
He said: “By combining pre-screening, intensive scrubbing and accurate post-scrub sizing on a single chassis, the P80 provides a practical way for operators to simplify plant layouts while achieving more consistent, higher quality end products.”
The system has been designed to remove clays, silts, organics and lightweight contaminants, with the aim of reducing operating costs, simplifying plant design and improving final product quality.
Terex Washing Systems added that the modular and compact layout allows for faster transport, installation and commissioning.
At the centre of the AggreScrub P80 is the company’s PowerScrub twin-shaft logwasher, equipped with spiral-arranged blades to create intensive stone-on-stone attrition and continuous material movement.
The machine features an adjustable operating angle to optimise retention time for different feed conditions, while independent high-torque drives are intended to support reliable start-up under load and reduce downtime caused by blockages.
Following scrubbing, material passes to a 2.4 m x 1.2 m triple-deck inclined aggregate screen capable of producing up to three washed products. Integrated spray bars provide a secondary rinse stage to remove residual contaminants before final sizing.
Lightweight contaminants, including plastics and organics, are separated using a 1.8 x 0.6 m trash screen, while an integrated sump tank and pump maintain slurry levels during operation.
Terex Washing Systems said the AggreScrub P80 has also been designed with safety and maintenance in mind, featuring fully galvanised 800 mm-wide walkways with GRP flooring, together with wear protection and maintenance access points intended to support operation in demanding environments.
In addition, the company will also display the FM60C from its FM Compact sand recovery range. The unit uses hydrocyclone-based centrifugal separation technology to remove clay, silt and slime below 75 microns.
The FM60C combines a collection tank, centrifugal slurry pump, hydrocyclones and a high-frequency dewatering screen on a compact chassis and is capable of recovering one or two grades of sand with low residual moisture content in the final product.
