Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE), Komatsu, Steelwrist, Caterpillar, Kobelco and Demarec have all been confirmed as sponsors for the 2026 World Demolition Summit (WDS).

The event, which takes place in Madrid, Spain, from November 3-5, was first launched in 2009 and has since established itself as the leading demolition and recycling event, bringing together hundreds of contractors, OEMs and suppliers.

Volvo CE has once again signed up as the event’s headline sponsor, marking the 18th consecutive year the company has done so.

Komatsu and Steelwrist are both platinum sponsors, while Caterpillar and Kobelco join as gold sponsors.

Meanwhile, Demarec is sponsoring the pre-dinner drinks, which take place prior to the World Demolition Awards on November 5.

Lewis Tyler, Programme Organiser, WDS, said: “Events like WDS are the heartbeat of this industry, but we wouldn’t be able to continue improving year after year without the support of our sponsors.

“With their help, we made the recent Summit in Nashville the biggest in WDS history. The ongoing support of our sponsors will ensure that we are able to do the same for the 2026 edition.”
