Sold out Hillhead in UK has 620 exhibitors
16 June 2026
The 2026 Hillhead show in the UK is sold out, with more than 620 exhibitors now starting build-up for the show next week on 23 to 25 June.
The event, a showcase for quarrying, construction and recycling, is held every two years at the Hillhead quarry in Buxton, UK, south east of Manchester.
The organiser said the event will be the biggest in its 44-year history, with exhibitors including “all 15 of the world’s leading ‘Big Kit’ OEMs”.

On show will be excavators and wheel loaders to crushing, screening and materials processing equipment.
The site will include a demonstration zone with equipment working in a real quarry environment.
‘Quarry face’ demos
New this year are ‘Quarry Face’ demos hosted by broadcaster and technology presenter Nikki Dean, scheduled demonstrations in Crusher Alley, and continuous displays across the Quarry Face, East and Registration demo areas.
The organisers are offering visitors a new AI planning tool. To use it, visitors enter a job title and company name on the Hillhead website home page (www.hillhead.com) to receive personalised exhibitor and product recommendations.
Online registration in advance is free and can be found at www.hillhead.com.
The site is 3km from Buxton railway station. The closest airport is Manchester (49km), followed by East Midlands (89km), Leeds/Bradford (100km) and Birmingham (114km).
