OSA will now operate as a business unit within Sandvik’s Attachment Tools division, which forms part of the company’s Rock Processing Solutions business area.

Headquartered in Molfetta, southern Italy, OSA was founded in 1994 and employs 64 people.

The company reported revenues of approximately SEK 150 million (US$14.9 million) in 2024 and has a strong presence in Europe, with additional operations in the US and Australia. It also operates a manufacturing facility with in-house R&D capabilities.

Sandvik said the acquisition will expand its footprint in the global demolition and recycling markets. The company confirmed the impact on its EBITA margin and earnings per share will be limited.

Stefan Widing, President and CEO of Sandvik, described the acquisition as “a step in our strategy to expand in attractive niches within Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions,” adding, “We look forward to welcome OSA to the Group.”
