The I-140 tracked impact crusher is due for launch by the end of 2105

The I-140 tracked impact crusher is due for launch by the end of 2105

Terex Finlay used a recent dealer event in Doncaster, UK, to introduce two new mobile crusher prototypes, the C-1540S cone and the I-140 impactor. The former features a fuel efficient direct drive transmission using a clutch and hydraulic tramp relief with reset to protect the chamber and minimise downtime. It also sports a metal detection system on the feed belt that has ‘auto-stop’ to protect the cone from tramp metal and a purge system to remove contaminants from the feed,

The design of the I-140 provides improved feed flow through the machine, with each component increasing in width as material moves through the machine. It carries fully hydraulic assisted apron setting features to make adjustment of the aprons convenient and efficient and a heavy duty vibrating feeder with an integral pre-screen removes fines and dirt from the feed.

Both new machines are expected to be launched by the end of 2015. Terex Finlay global sales & business development director Rik Kiddle said: “Our new product developments this calendar year have been unprecedented. We have launched four new crushers and two new screeners so far this year, with another three crusher models to launch by the end of the 4th quarter, 2015.”
