Prototype demolition machine to be debuted in Germany
21 May 2025
Sennebogen is to preview a prototype demolition machine at a special event at its headquarters in Straubing, Germany.

The manufacturer will host its “Launch Big Things” event in partnership with Italian attachments specialist Mantovanibenne (MBI) on 26 and 27 June 2025, where it will present a full range of demolition machines, MBI’s latest attachments, and a prototype version of the 870 E Demolition model.
While detailed information about the prototype has not been revealed, Sennebogen indicated that the variant will include features that make it suitable for digging applications as well as demolition tasks.
In addition to the model’s preview, the two-day event will include live equipment demonstrations, plant tours, and the opportunity for attendees to operate machines and test attachments.
“The event will offer exclusive insights into the latest demolition solutions from Sennebogen and pioneering developments in attachments from MBI,” said Paul Dohm, Product Manager Demolition at Sennebogen.
The OEM’s full demolition line will be on display, covering a range of sizes and configurations. The smallest in the line-up, the 825 E Demolition, has a 38-tonne operating weight and a 14-metre reach.
Stepping up in size, the 830 E Demolition K17 ULM offers a 17-metre reach and accommodates tools weighing up to 3.5 tonnes. A second version of the 830, the Vario Tool, will also be on show. It features a modular setup that allows operators to switch between a 12-metre digging boom for heavier 5-tonne tools and a 23-metre front boom for lighter 3-tonne attachments.
The largest model available for attendees to see will be the standard 870 E Demolition, which weighs 114 tonnes and provides a maximum reach of 36 metres with a tool capacity of 3.65 tonnes.
Live demonstrations of new attachment technology from MBI are also set to take place. Attendees will be able to operate both machines and attachments in real-world settings, with a focus on testing tool efficiency and versatility.
