Part of the company’s Panther range, the new T14R now features a 205 kW, Stage V/Tier 4 Final Caterpillar C7.1 engine and can travel up to 5% faster - at 13.5 km/h - than the previous model of the same name.

The T14E has a payload capacity of 13.2 tonnes.

Patrick Hébert, product manager for the Panther, said, “Everyone knows that bigger payloads and faster cycle times deliver more productivity and bigger profit.”

“That’s why we worked hard as a team to provide not only exceptional payload, but also the best payload to weight ratio in the industry. With this next generation, we now offer a 15 percent advantage in this critical category over our closest competitor by carrying less dead weight,” added Hébert.

Major changes have also been made to the tracked dumper’s overall design. The T14R now has “unrestricted cab views” to improve operator visibility and help prevent onsite accidents.

Inside the cab, Prinoth has added new warning systems to the vehicle’s in-cab display and an “exclusive” single-touch drive-direction reset feature allows operators to perform easy turnarounds.

Prinoth said it has also improved dumper’s hydrostatic drive motor settings to provide drivers with better responsiveness during high-torque activities.
