Pre-show event anticipates SaMoTer 2026

Held on Friday 13 March, the B2Press networking event was organised by Veronafiere ahead of the triennial international construction machinery exhibition in Verona during 6–9 May 2026.

Hosted in Veronafiere’s Congress Centre, it previewed technological innovations and product developments. It was attended by 18 top brands in the sector and 32 Italian and international journalists.

“B2Press confirms SaMoTer’s strategic role as a landmark for the construction, earthmoving and road-building machinery sectors,” said Matteo Pasinato, SaMoTer event manager.

“It is a perfect opportunity for establishing long-lasting relationships between companies and the international press, thereby creating the conditions for qualified visibility and targeted networking.”

During 15-minute one-to-one meetings, exhibiting companies had the chance to preview features of their technological offerings and highlight the products that will be on show in May.

The event included discussions of product innovations, automation, environmental sustainability, emission reduction and digitalisation of construction sites. It culminated in a light lunch and an informal networking session.

With six show halls and three outdoor areas, SaMoTer is one of the key events in Europe for the entire construction machinery supply chain: from earthmoving to hoisting/lifting, demolition, drilling and crushing machinery, alongside quarry and construction site vehicles, as well as concrete to road building, engine components, spare parts, logistics, services and ICT solutions.

“SaMoTer 2026 is expected to welcome more than 500 exhibitors,” said Pasinato, before adding that this number is likely to increase in the coming weeks.

In addition to the exhibition, the SaMoTer Arena in Hall 9 will host a programme of conferences, technical workshops and in-depth insight sessions.

Including trade associations, institutions and operators, these will discuss and analyse the future of the construction sector on a national and international scale helping guide the strategic choices of the entire sector.
