The new 18.1 tonne Warrior 800 will be joined by the new Warrior 2400 – the largest screen ever produced by Powerscreen – later this year

Powerscreen has formally launched the Warrior 800 two deck mobile screen that was first seen at the Nordbau 2009 exhibition.

Available on either tracks or wheels, the Warrior 800 weighs in at 18.1 tonnes and is a heavy duty, multi-purpose inclined two-deck screen that is capable of stockpiling, three way splitting or scalping before and after crushers.

According to Powerscreen global director of sales Pat Brian: "The launch of the Warrior 800 underlines our commitment to continuous product development and innovation, even in these more challenging market conditions.

"We will continue to invest heavily in our products so that our customers have access to the very best equipment."

The screenbox on the Warrior 800 is able to accept a wide variety of screen media, making the new machine versatile and suitable for a range of applications, such as topsoil processing, recycling and C&D waste processing.

It will accept material with a feed size of up to 40 cm (16 inch) and offers a maximum throughput of up to 300 tonnes per hour, depending on the application.
