New Sandvik range simplifies crushing and screening for demolition contractors

Sandvik has introduced a new equipment range designed to offer a more accessible entry point into the mobile crushing and screening market for demolition and recycling contractors.

Known as Basic Premium, the new line is intended to provide a simplified version of Sandvik’s existing mobile equipment. It is being positioned as a cost-effective option for users in emerging and price-sensitive markets.

“Our ambition with this concept is to offer a solution that bridges performance and affordability and make Sandvik mobile equipment more widely accessible to a larger market,” said Mattias Markusson, Vice President Product Line Manager for Sandvik tracked crushers and screens.

The first phase of the launch includes four models: the QJ341 and QJ241 jaw crushers, the QA452 Doublescreen, and the QE342 scalper. All units are based on existing Sandvik designs and are built to the same manufacturing standards, with the same warranty as the company’s core premium range.

“We’ve refined the offering to serve two critical needs: the growing demand of the demolition and recycling industries, and the need for high-quality yet simplified equipment in emerging markets,” Mattias added.

According to Sandvik, the models feature retrofittable aftermarket options and are available through its authorised distributors and sales partners.

The launch marks a shift in the company’s approach to supporting smaller contractors and first-time buyers, particularly those in developing markets.
