New products and new people at SiteZone
20 April 2022
After a successful year in 2021, SiteZone Safety, the United Kingdom-based provider of proximity warning systems, has grown its team to give more support to customers and take “plant to pedestrian collision safety management to the next level”.

SiteZone launched a new division at the end of last year supplying, installing, and servicing a range of onboard weighing products.
After being a distributor for the VEI onboard weighing systems for a few years and seeing the impact it can have on site safety, the company said it was a natural progression to create a dedicated division to look after this product.
“The main benefit of an onboard weighing system is to control costs and increase productivity on sites such as waste and recycling, and quarries,” said managing director Gary Escott.
“But an additional advantage of the weighing systems is the reduction in vehicle movement around a site.
“By removing the need to go back and forth from a weighing bridge you reduce the collision risk. When you look at that in the context of already high-risk sectors, the potential for safety improvement seems more valid.”
SiteZone Safety has also grown its workforce by more than 30%, including an operations director, business development manager and field service engineers.
