The Ontario, Canada-based manufacturers said the crusher brings the power and productivity of a 1,125 mm (44 in) impactor to a compact footprint for maximum manoeuvrability, maximising the efficiency of the job site.

The I4C is built to the same standards as full-size crushers. McCloskey engineers have adapted the design to meet the evolving requirements of today’s projects and operations by developing more compact products while maintaining durability and reliability.

Several new features are included. It has been designed with a deeper chamber, creating greater tramp release space. With an aggressive blow bar and apron design, four-bar variable speed rotor, and three crush zones with an optional fourth strike, McCloskey says it can be set up as a primary or secondary crusher in some of the toughest materials.

The crusher is suited particularly to construction and demolition recycling, asphalt recycling, and aggregates.
