NDA: Last chance to register for member’s meeting

Members of the US National Demolition Association (NDA) have only a few days left to register their attendance for the organisation’s Fall Quarterly Member Meeting.

The event, which is being held in conjunction with the World Demolition Summit, will take place on Thursday 19 October, 2023, at the Westin Habour Castle Hotel in Toronto, Canada.

It will comprises networking and education opportunities, as well as the association’s Fall Board and Committee meetings.

“All NDA members are encouraged to register for this event,” said the NDA, whose members can also use the code NDA20 to benefit from a 20% discount on the cost of attending the World Demolition Summit.

Over the past several months the demolition association has taken vital steps to press the US Government into taking action on a number of key issues affecting demolition contractors.

In June, the association urged the United States Congress to reinstate the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), in order to help demolition and construction sector employers recruit and retain skilled workers.

The following month, leaders from the NDA met with officials ffrom the White House and the Department of Labor (DOL), to discuss the Biden administration’s impending proposal to amend overtime regulations.
