The ECO6, which can be driven on all types of roads, including highways, in the EU without needing a permit, was designed to handle what the company describes as “tough Scandinavian conditions”.

The fully electric model can be run on mains poweror a diesel generator if required, with the gen set mounted on a lifting frame that can be situated a suitable distance away to protect it from dust during the screening plants operation.

Maskin Mekano, which is currently seeking equipment dealers to make the model available in non-Scandinavian countries such as the UK, said: “With an aggressive stroke and relatively flat angle, you get an unmatched combination of capacity and screening accuracy even when the conditions and weather are not optimal.

“Fine fractions are sorted with remarkable precision, but few materials are any challenge for the Maskin Mekano STE screen. Thanks to the unique Vibroblock technology, no vibrations transfer into the machine, but stay in screen box where they belong.”
