MacQueen Equipment Buys Bell Equipment

MacQueen Equipment, LLC, a Rotunda Capital Partners portfolio company headquartered in St. Paul, Minn., has acquired Bell Equipment and equipment dealer with locations in Michigan and Ohio. No financial details were provided.

Bell Equipment Founded in 1951, Bell Equipment will continue to serve contractor and municipal markets in Michigan and Ohio, representing brands such as Elgin sweepers, Heil waste trucks, Schaefer waste carts, Epoke snow equipment, Titan leaf vacs, SetCom communication tools and Trackless municipal tractors.

Macqueen said that the combined company will create the largest environmental equipment dealer network in the Midwest, covering a six-state territory consisting of Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio and Wisconsin.

Founded in 1951, Bell Equipment will continue to serve contractor and municipal markets in Michigan and Ohio, representing brands such as Elgin street sweepers (Michigan only), Heil waste trucks, Schaefer waste carts, Epoke snow equipment, Titan leaf vacs, SetCom communication tools, and Trackless municipal tractors.

MacQueen Equipment has elected to keep the Bell Equipment name as a signifier of the company’s 70-year legacy in its territories.
