LiuGong to bring expert insight to Hillhead

According to the OEM, the live quarry event provides “the perfect environment” for customers, dealers and industry partners to see its machines in context, ask questions and understand how they perform in real applications.

The company will present a 12-machine line-up, with 10 machines making their Hillhead debut alongside two new application packs, showcasing capability across quarrying, infrastructure, earthmoving, demolition, electric site solutions and after-sales support.

The stand will bring together a series of “application-focused” stories designed to help visitors look beyond the machine and understand the expertise behind it, said LiuGong.

It will explore the questions that matter to customers: how does the machine perform in demanding conditions? What support sits behind it? How does it fit the application? What evidence proves the claim?

Howard Dale, president of LiuGong Europe, said, “Customers are hearing a lot of claims at the moment, and it’s not always easy to know what to believe. That’s why Hillhead is so important. It gives people the chance to see the machines, talk to the people behind them and understand how they perform in real applications.”

Among the highlights will be the 925FCR, a 25-tonne short-tail excavator, launching into the UK at the show, alongside the 838TE wheel loader and 924FE excavator.

The 838TE is an electric wheel loader used by LiuGong UK customers in quarrying and recycling applications, while the 924FE electric excavator has been deployed on major infrastructure projects, including the Lower Thames Crossing and HS2 high speed railway.

LiuGong will also present equipment for mining including the 8110TE 40-tonne electric loader, DR50CE electric mining truck and 4280DE electric motor grader, a combination already used in demanding applications in Norway and the Czech Republic.

Also on show will be the 909FCR compact excavator, 933F DM demolition excavator, 956F HD excavator, 877T wheel loader, and 6612F roller.

The demonstration area will give customers the opportunity to see LiuGong machines working in a practical environment, with a focus on BEV performance, application benefits and an OEM total solution offering.

Alongside the electric machines will be Charging Piles and BESS Systems, highlighting the company’s experience in delivering BEV site solutions in Europe.

The company added that it will also use the event to reinforce the support behind its growing UK presence, from dealer relationships and parts availability to customer service and on-site knowledge.
