Liebherr’s ConExpo stand size balloons as it prepares to show off latest machines and tech

Liebherr said it would be one of the largest exhibitors, with booths spanning more than 71,000 sq ft of space. That is an increase of roughly 10,000 sq ft on the 60,400 sq ft it took in 2023.

Among the various exhibits will be the latest construction machines, material handling equipment, mobile and crawler cranes, concrete technology, deep foundation machines (P7761), and digital innovations.

The main Liebherr booth (F35055) will also include 10,000 sq ft of interactive demonstration area, with live demonstrations taking place daily throughout the week.

A dedicated technology pavilion will showcase digital tools such as MyLiebherr, CranePlanner, Diagnostic tools, as well as on-site simulators.

Featured machines will include: the MK 140-5.1E five-axle, mobile construction crane; the L 586 XPower wheel loader; LH 60 electric material handler; 38 XXT truck-mounted concrete pump; LB 35.1 drilling rig; and 91 K fast-erecting tower crane.

The increase in size of Liebherr’s presence at ConExpo mirrors that of Caterpillar, which has also boosted the overall area of its stands at the show by 10,000 sq ft.

The 2023 edition of ConExpo was the first since Covid-19 impacted the 2020 show. The 2026 edition comes as the US construction industry continues to run hot in certain segments, particularly non-residential building driven by data centres, and public sector projects. They have driven demand, even amid ongoing market uncertainty around international trade disputes and future tariff levels.
