Models from the PC24MR-5 upwards now include a rear-view camera with a wide-angle view and a dedicated monitor as standard, for improved visibility behind the machine.

Additionally, models from the PC33MR-5 upwards have been upgraded with an air-suspended seat as standard. Komatsu said the seat features adjustable settings and is intended to reduce vibration and fatigue during extended use.

“We’re excited to introduce the updated generation of our mini excavators,” said Emanuele Viel, Komatsu’s Group Manager for the compact line.

“We listened to our customers and focused on enhancing the features that matter, such as safety, durability and ease of use. This new range delivers on all fronts, providing operators with the tools they need to tackle any job with confidence.”

The mini excavator line still retains its core design and structural features, but now also benefits from LED work lights to improve visibility in low-light conditions and to reduce glare and light scatter.

Komatsu added that additional optional features such as front protection grids and access and visibility aids —which further improve operator safety and machine usability, are also available.
