Kobelco Europe expands 50-tonne excavator range

Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe introduced two new excavators in the 50-tonne class, expanding its product range.

Successors to the company’s SK500LC-10 and SK530LC-10 models, the Stage V compliant SK500LC-11 and SK530LC-11 crawlers are both fitted with turbocharged 13-litre Hino engines.

The engine model incorporates a repositioned radiator and cooling system, and a fan belt equipped with an auto-tensioner, for reduced maintenance.

Peter Stuijt, product manager at Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe, said, “The SK500LC-11 and SK530LC-11 represent a new generation in excavator performance and design. Years of research, coupled with feedback from our customers, has resulted in the development of new breed of heavy machines that excel in performance comfort and operability.”
