The company, established in 2009 by Keltbray with the acquisition of Gamble Rail, operates primarily in the energy, rail, and highways sectors—providing infrastructure design, installation, upgrades, maintenance and decommissioning services for projects across complex and regulated markets.

The change follows the company’s acquisition by EMK Capital in August 2024, during which it embarked on a rebranding process involving employee and customer input.

Darren James, CEO of AUREOS, described the change as a significant milestone for the organisation.

“This is an important time in the evolution of our company,” he said.

“As AUREOS, we commit to all our stakeholders to always strive to be their first choice as ‘The leading infrastructure engineering services provider for the energy security and decarbonised transport sectors.’”

Darren added: “I am particularly pleased with the engagement of our extended team in choosing the new company name as we enter the next exciting phase of growth.”

The rebranding reflects the company’s focus on supporting energy security and decarbonised transport networks, aligning with government priorities around decarbonisation and energy resilience.

The name AUREOS, derived from a combination of ‘Aurora’ and ‘Eos,’ broadly translates to ‘a new dawn,’ signifying the company’s future ambitions in sustainable infrastructure development.
