Giovanni, who has 15 years of experience in the construction equipment industry, will be based at Keestrack’s offices in Italy and will primarily be responsible for establishing sustainable relationships with new dealers.

The company made the appointment as part of a plan to expand and “professionalise” its dealer network.

New sales manager Giovanni said, “We’re basically looking to expand our dealer network with A-rated, reliable and organized international and local dealers, to be involved as our importers and distributors.”

In line with this, Keestrack is aiming to provide both its new and existing equipment dealers with additional comprehensive training and support services.

Giovanni said: “To support the dealers with the right service and training is a challenge for me in these markets. Keestrack wants to support their dealers also with a good financial plan. By offering floorplans, to keep machines locally on stock.”

Keestrack is currently looking to expand its presence global and is aiming to capitalise on the demand for mobile equipment in West Africa’s quarrying sector.

In the Middle East, the manufacturer will focus on promoting its electric equipment range, as countries in the region transition towards a more “green economy”.

Giovanni said the company would initially “target the markets of the North-West Africa region, South Africa and in Middle East countries like Israel, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar”.
