Innovation award for quick couplers standard

The organisation received the award at a ceremony at the Demcon event in Stockholm.

Open-S is the open standard for fully automatic quick couplers for excavators, and the Open-S Alliance is the non-profit organisation that develops and promotes the standard.

“We are very pleased with the award and it shows the support for an open standard that do not lock customers into a proprietary supplier solution for quick couplers, tiltrotators and work tools,” said Open-S Alliance board member Stefan Stockhaus.

“We are in talks with several manufacturers and hope to be able to announce additional members in the near future” added Anders Jonsson, the chairman of the board of Open-S Alliance AB.
