Wipro Hydraulics is poised to acquire Italian manufacturer Indeco Ind Spa in a move that will add hydraulic attachments to its own portfolio of cylinders.

Subject to regulatory approvals, Indeco will become part of Wipro Hydraulics, a specialist manufacturer which today operates 16 facilities globally as part of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering.
Founded by Mauro Vitulano in 1976, Indeco produces hydraulic attachments including hammers, mulching heads, pulverisers, shears and other demolition-related attachment. With seven manufacturing facilities in Italy and one plant in the US, it serves the mining and quarry, infrastructure, land clearing, construction, demolition and recycling industries.
Wipro Hydraulics was also established in 1976 and is today one of the world’s largest independent manufacturers of hydraulic cylinders for applications in segments such as construction and earthmoving, material and cargo handling, forestry, farm and agriculture, mining and truck tipping.
