Screenmasters of Bathurst, Australia has extended its product offering thanks to a distribution agreement with Austria's Rockster Recycling. The company offers a full range of crushing and screening equipment for most applications in all weight classes, but felt it was missing an adequate solution in the compact class.

"I discovered the Rockster machines at Bauma in Germany and immediately knew that they were what we were looking for," said Michael McGinley, company founder alongside Mick Lagan.

"It's a unique product in many ways. It's compact, easy to move, has good specifications, good options, is very flexible, is built with good components and it's the only machine I know of that you can replace the impactor with a jaw on the same chassis," enthused Mr McGinley.

"Integrating Rockster into our offering has enabled us to enter a completely new market segment and we're now able to respond to different needs in the compact crushing class," said Mr McGinley.

Operating a R900 impact crusher with a return belt RS83 screenbox, Screenmasters is satisfied that it has a defined product. "We can take 400 mm feed and reduce it to 20 mm or less. For anyone else to do that they would have to bring three machines to site, but with the Rockster we can crush product with just one, and that's attractive to a marketplace that's very price sensitive," said Mr McGinley.
