Recycling equipment manufacturer Kiverco recently welcomed a special guest when Conor Burns, MP, the United Kingdom government’s minister of state for Northern Ireland paid a visit to the company’s global headquarters in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

Owners Anne and Aidan McKiver were among those spending time with Minister Burns to discuss the work Kiverco does, the markets it supplies and the recycling plants it has designed and engineered in the past 30 years.

The minister was keen to gain an insight into Kiverco’s waste separation technology and had a particular interest in the company’s activity in the Middle East, where it has helped companies and communities transform waste into reusable and recyclable products.

Kiverco has also represented the UK at the delayed Expo 2020 event, which opened in Dubai last October.

“It was fantastic to visit Kiverco and witness how what started as a small family-owned company has grown into a market leader, exporting Northern Ireland products to countries including Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and Australia,” said Conor Burns MP.

“We are very grateful to Minister Burns for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit us,” said Kiverco global sales manager Con Gallagher.

“He has a genuine interest in what we do and how we are helping companies around the world recover value from the waste they process.

“More and more nations are focused on achieving a circular economy model and want only the toughest waste recycling plants to fulfil these objectives.”
