As the demolition industry prepares for the World Demolition Summit 2017, don’t forget you can see videos of speaker presentations from last year’s event in Miami on the D&Ri page of the KHL website.

Wds mark lies

Listen to Mark Lies speaking at the World Demolition Summit 2016

In this issue of the WDS newsletter we are featuring the presentation “What to expect from OSHA in 2017 and beyond”.

The speaker was experienced labour and employment lawyer Mark Lies from the Chicago-based firm Seyfarth Shaw.

In a thought-provoking and often humorous address to the 300-strong audience, the Vietnam veteran gave his own unique take on health and safety issues in the North American demolition industry.

The World Demolition Summit 2016 was organised by Demolition & Recycling International magazine in co-operation with the National Demolition Association.

This year’s event, which takes place in London, United Kingdom on Thursday November 2, is organised in co-operation with the European Demolition Association. Headline sponsor is Volvo Construction Equipment.
