EDA welcomes dismantling and asbestos specialist

Cyprus-based dismantling and asbestos removal specialist Kameris Group has become the latest company to join the European Demolition Association (EDA).

Formerly known as Phillippos Kameris, Kameris was founded in 1988 by Philippos Kameris. The company operates across Cyprus and offers services in demolition, dismantling, asbestos removal and the collection and management of construction and demolition waste.

Over the years, Kameris has conducted numerous high-profile projects. Among them, are the demolition of the Ronald McDonald House, the demolition of Nicosia Municipal Theater, and the demolition and asbestos removal of the Nicosia Old General Hospital.

The EDA said that one of Kameris’ most prominent features is its workforce, which the company defines as “the foundation of the Group’s customers’ trust”.

The association said: “Besides carrying out the work, they actively participate in workshops, seminars and conferences, organized by private and public institutions”.
