The kit is available for DL-7 models from the DL200-7 through to the DL480-7, which the company says are the models most commonly used in waste and recycling environments.

Features of the updated kit offering include windshield guards, rim covers, front and rear road light protection, arm cylinder covers, an articulation guard, a front frame cover, belly protection (front, centre and rear), and an air intake mesh.

The company said the kit “is designed to help operators work safely in the hazardous conditions that often accompany waste handling and recycling applications, including contending with airborne dust, dirt and other dangerous particulates and materials”.

According to the company, the kit is supplied with a wider fin radiator and air conditioner condenser, along with a reversible fan, “to facilitate easy cleaning and maintenance”.

Some elements of the kit are optional, allowing customers to configure the equipment to suit specific working conditions. An aftermarket version is also available for users who choose to install the kit after purchasing their machine.

The company added that the Waste and Recycling Kit complements existing DL-7 features such as the air compressor, high lift arm, quick coupler and transparent bucket.
