The manufacturer, which was previously known as Doosan Construction Equipment, said its new DX27Z-7M model offers higher lifting capacities, greater digging forces and a larger working range than its previous generation of machines, “as well as other mini excavators in this part of the market”.

The Develon DX27Z-7M mini excavator is fitted with a Stage V-compliant, 18.4 kW diesel engine that is said to provide the highest level of torque in its class. It has a maximum digging depth of 2.8 m, a digging reach of 4.7 m and a maximum travel speed of 4.2 km/h.

Designed for heavy duty applications, the model features a zero tail swing design for operation in tight spaces and also boasts a redesigned upper structure for improved durability.

Alongside these features, a new dozer blade and dozer blade control lever allows operators to choose between a low and high speed for levelling the blade hydraulics.

“The DX27Z-7M also offers a high auxiliary flow of 76.8 l/min to enhance work with attachments,” said Develon. “Newly designed cast counterweights ensure excellent machine balance and stability when working. A long arm option is available with a 100 kg additional counterweight in the DX27Z-7M.

Other key features include a larger, “high comfort cab” that includes a fully glazed entry door for improved operator visibility, a suspended leather seat, “an enhanced” heating and air-conditioning system, and a 5.7-inch touchscreen display.

Develon plans new site in Mannheim, Germany The location will offer customer support and training
