Demolition Awards extended

Premium Content

14 August 2009

As a result of the unprecedented level of interest shown in the inaugural Demolition Awards, and specifically the Contract of the Year category, it has been decided to introduce two ‘highly commended' awards in this category in addition to the award for the overall winner.

The number of entries for this category more than exceeded all expectations and more to the point, the standard of work outlined in the submitted entries is such that it is felt that more than just a single project should receive formal recognition of a ‘job well done'.

The judging panel will convene in Amsterdam on 8th September, with those shortlisted for the 11 Award categories being notified immediately after this meeting. Full short-lists will also be posted on the KHL website immediately after, along with details of the specific projects being put forward for individual awards, where appropriate.

In addition, the September-October issue of D&Ri will include a special Demolition Summit supplement, which will also be available separately, that will contain all the information you need to know about the inaugural Demolition Summit in Amsterdam on the 6th November, along with full details on all the companies and projects shortlisted for the Demolition Awards.
