OilQuickUSA, an Exodus Global company, and OilQuick AB, the Sweden-based manufacturer of the OilQuick Automatic Quick Coupler System, have announced a joint venture to manufacture automatic coupling systems in the USA.

The new company has been named OilQuick Americas (OQA) and will service both the North and South American markets.

OilQuick automatic quick coupler OQA says the market for automatic quick couplers in North America is growing rapidly

OQA is investing millions of dollars in manufacturing machinery at its location in Superior, Wisconsin, with joint venture said to greatly increase manufacturing capacity to meet the rising growth in demand.

“Having worked with Ake and Henrik Sonerud [director and CEO of OilQuick AB] for six years now made it an easy decision to form a JV with them,” said Kevin Boreen, CEO of Exodus Global.

“Their approach to business, commitment to quality, and respect they show their employees and customers dovetails perfectly with Exodus Global.

“The market for automatic quick couplers in North America is gaining momentum daily, and this investment gives OQA the ability to service our customers with domestic manufacturing.”

Henrik Sonerud at OilQuick AB added: “The team at Exodus Global is a perfect match for us, having the very same view of business, quality, and support for our customers.

”This is also a necessary step for us in our global expansion. By doing this, we release capacity for our growth in Europe and Asia, but even more importantly improve support to our customers in North America by shortening delivery times and increasing flexibility.”

OilQuick Americas said it expected to enter full production of the OilQuick automatic quick coupler system later this year.
