Contractors named in £93 million demolition framework
15 July 2025
Over 50 contractors have been named on a new £93.75 million asbestos, demolition and water hygiene services framework.

The framework is from UK-based consortium EN:Procure, the procurement arm of social housing consortium Efficiency North that provides specialist frameworks and services to support the delivery of construction, repair and maintenance work for social landlords across Northern England.
Its newly launched framework will run for four years until July 2029 and is designed to support asbestos-related and demolition projects across social housing.
According to EN:Procure, the framework could also extend to commercial and public sector buildings.
The Gen-4 tender is structured to deliver social, economic and environmental value in line with UK government guidance, including the Constructing the Gold Standard report.
The framework covers asbestos consultancy and surveys, air monitoring, licensed and unlicensed asbestos removal, low and high-rise demolition, and water hygiene management and remedial works.
EN:Procure Director of Operations, Emma Mottram, said the appointment reflects the organisation’s commitment to supporting smaller contractors and generating local value.
She said: “The asbestos and demolition sector is of huge importance to the construction industry, with projects needing careful planning to protect workers and the public when dealing with this hazardous material that can have serious legal and health-related consequences.
“We need this pool of highly-skilled and trusted operators to be involved in the safe handling of asbestos, in line with UK regulations. I’m also excited to be working with such a good mix of existing and new framework contractors, with 57% of contractors having historically not worked with EN:Procure previously.”
Companies named in the low rise and high rise demolition lots include Coleman & Company, Demolition Services Ltd, City Demolition Contractors and Connell Brothers.
