The DF410 compact mobile screen had its formal launch at the recent Hillhead show

While there are a number of compact crusher manufacturers, compact screens have to date received less attention. The recent Hillhead show saw a new name emerge in the sector, with the launch of the Anaconda DF410.

This three way compact screen can process a wide range of materials, including demolition waste, crushed rock, sand and gravel, topsoil, compost, woodchip and coal. The DF410 features a heavy-duty feeder complete with impact bed, heavy-duty belt, drop down and plate for direct feed from crushers, and variable speed control. The three integral conveyors feature hydraulic fold and variable speed control as standard.

According to Anaconda, which is known for its conveyor systems, the new machine is easily transportable on a low loader and can be tracked into a 12.2 m (40 ft) container without break down.

Sales director Con Gallagher said: "Demand is once again the reason why we have diversified into the design and manufacture of the DF410. Our dealers are telling us that there is a limited supply of quality, well priced compact tracked screeners out there."
