Deadline for Certified Demolition Supervisor exam imminent

Applications for the Certified Demolition Supervisor (CDS) exam are due by Friday, February 14, for those planning to take the test in person at Demolition New Orleans next month.

The National Demolition Association (NDA), said: “This will be the only opportunity to sit the exam in person in 2025.”

An in-person exam setting is intended to provide a distraction-free environment, ensure a reliable testing experience, and allow candidates to seek assistance from an onsite proctor if needed.

A new group discount offers 20% off registration fees for four or more applicants taking the CDS exam together.

Commenting on the importance of the certification, Donald W. Barris, III, president and founder of The DB3 Group, said: “The CDS promotes growth in the industry workforce, brings a level of professionalism to your organization and the demolition industry, and instills confidence in owners and engineers that the personnel involved in their projects possess the skills and knowledge to safely execute the work.”
