This year’s event, which returns to an in-person format, will focus on two key topics: construction and demolition (C&D) waste management protocol, and audits before demolition and renovation works.

The EDA said the event is an opportunity for the attendees to “collaborate, exchange ideas, and help shape the future” of the industry in these key areas.

Industry experts set to participate in the event include Florian Flacheneker and Philippe Moseley of the European Commission, Liesbet Van Cauwenberghe and Johan D’Hooghe from TRACIMAT, Marco Camboni from RPA Europe, Katrin Mees of Deutscher-Abbruchverband, Thomas Kasper of BRV, Duncan Rudall from the NFDC and Stefano Panseri for NADECO (National Association of Demolition and Circular Economy for Construction).

The first session of the Think Tank aims to facilitate open discussions among industry professionals. Attendees will discuss how this protocol is shaping the industry and what advancements are on the horizon.

The second session will address best practices for pre-demolition audits. It will focus on essential steps, common obstacles, and the future role of technology in streamlining these audits.

The event is free and will conclude with closing remarks, followed by a networking lunch, offering attendees the opportunity to continue discussions and build connections.
