Caterpillar upgrades its D4 dozer

Caterpillar has launched its new Cat D4 dozer model into the European, North American, Australian and New Zealand construction equipment markets.

The upgraded Cat D4 weighs 13.3 tonnes and is part of the company’s range of medium sized dozers, sitting alongside the Cat D5, D6, D7 and D8 models.

Previously known as the D6K2 dozer, the earthmoving machine is US Tier 4/Stage V compliant and is equipped with the manufacturer’s C4.4 engine that offers 130 horsepower (96kW)...Sign in to continue reading.
