Caterpillar launches Stage V dozer

Caterpillar has launched a new Stage V dozer as part of its D7 equipment range for the European, Australian and New Zealand markets.

The D7 is the successor to the company’s D7E model. It is fitted with a C9.3B engine with an automatic four-speed transmission that provides 197kW (265hp) of power and 12% more horsepower than the company’s previous dozer model.

With an undercarriage that has been redesigned for high performance, it can also move up to 8% more material per hour than its predecessor and has a 10% higher blade...Sign in to continue reading.
