Bobcat sells its first L85 in Italy

Equipment supplier Bobcat’s first L85 compact wheeled loader (CWL) in Italy has been sold to Fiumeter, a supplier of gravel, sand and crushed stone for construction sites, based in the Trentino region in the north of the country.
The L85 was supplied by local authorised dealer Fides.

The new machine will perform a variety of tasks at the Fiumeter plant for processing and recycling demolition rubble for reselling to construction and road contractors who deliver the rubble from their sites to the plant in the village of Denno and buy it back from Fiumeter once it has been sorted and processed.
The loader, which features as standard with Bobcat’s easy-to-use and powerful Quick-Tach attachment mounting and removal system, is equipped with a 190 cm (74 in) bucket.
It also incorporates Advanced Attachment Control, which enables the operator to switch quickly to an alternative machine control system.
“We were attracted by the L85’s compactness and design,” said Stefano Borghesi, vehicle manager at Fiumeter.
“As the only compact machine in the plant, it can perform many functions thanks to its manoeuvrability, speed and agility, even when space is limited. It also doesn’t go unnoticed by our customers when they see it in action. They ask us all the time about its performance.”
Luca Schullian, sales manager at Fides, added: “I consider this machine to be the new benchmark in terms of performance in the CWL segment.”
