The excavator attachments manufacturer, which owns the demolition equipment brands ShearCore, BladeCore, Connect Work Tools, OilQuick Americas, and RockZone Americas is adding 27,000 sq ft (2,500 m2) to its main facility - a site that currently has a footprint of 90,000 sq ft (8,350 m2).

The US$5 million expansion project - a figure that is expected to rise - will help the company increase its production capabilities, and capitalise of recent market growth that last year saw it achieve revenues of 40%

Kevin Boreen, CEO at Exodus, said: “We’ve been on a blistering growth pace the last couple of years and we’re not backing down. Investments in our employees and facilities coupled with state-of-the-art technology have positioned us well for continued success.”

Exodus has contracted JR Jensen Contractors to carryout the works, which are scheduled to begin this August and will see the installation of nine robotic welding stations, four machining centers, a press brake, burn table, and a CNC cut off saw.

The works are currently expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2024.

News of the expansion comes just months after the company’s acquisition of RockWheel Americas, which was described as Exodus as “a strategic play to expand our footprint to the northeast and supplement our hydraulic attachment line up with another exceptional tool”.
