With over 25 years in the nuclear industry, primarily with (NRS), John has managed large-scale decommissioning and nuclear waste storage projects across 12 UK sites.

Currently, he leads the NRS programme focused on decommissioning the UK’s early research and first-generation civil reactors, alongside major remediation and structural change efforts.

“John’s wealth of experience in nuclear decommissioning and his collaborative approach to complex challenges make him a valuable addition to the WDS,” said Leila Steed, WDS Programme Organiser.

“His insights will undoubtedly enhance our discussions on safe, innovative decommissioning strategies.”

John is also a passionate advocate of collaboration, working with stakeholders and the vast expertise in the supply chain to deliver on behalf of NRS and the UK’s Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
