United Kingdom-based demolition company Hughes & Salvidge has received its three-year asbestos renewal licence for sister company H&S Asbestos.
The contractor, whose headquarters are in Portsmouth in the south of England, said the in-house asbestos renewal service has exceeded expectations in its first 12 months.
H&S Asbestos regularly undertakes the removal of large amounts of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) within multiple locations, on range of sites and environments.
Current and previous projects include sites such as the Leamington House and Horatia House tower blocks in Portsmouth, port operator DP World in Southampton, and multiple UK Ministry of Defence camps.
“Expanding the Asbestos division, while maintaining our high levels of health and safety and client satisfaction, is of paramount importance to us,” said H&S Asbestos contracts manager James Hall.
“Gaining the three-year licence, from the [UK] Health and Safety Executive, aids us in achieving these goals and shows our clients, and future clients, that we are reputable, trusted and safe.”
Martyn Burnett, managing director at Hughes & Salvidge, called the renewal “a testament to the hard work the team have put in.”
