The provisional programme for the conference that forms part of the 2012 Demolition Summit on 4 November, to be held at the Grand Krasnapolski Hotel in Amsterdam, is now available to view on the Summit website, www.demolitionsummit.com.

Speakers at the Summit will come from five continents and will cover some of the most demanding and challenging demolition projects carried out in recent months. One of the highlights is sure to be the presentation by Diana Still, president of the New Zealand Demolition and Asbestos Association, who will outline the activities of the association's members during the demolition required in the city of Christchurch following on from the earthquake that occurred during February 2011.

Other highlights include one of the most challenging civil demolition projects in the UK, when Armac demolished a viaduct at the M1/M6 interchange, a textbook blowdown, and the first ever presentation from India covering a challenging urban demolition in the city of Mumbai.

The overall event, including the World Demolition Awards gala dinner, is certain to be a major draw for the industry and its suppliers, offering an ideal networking and educational experience. To book your attendance at this leading demolition industry event, go to www.demolitionawards/event-booking or telephone Katy Storvik (+44 (0)1892 784088) or email to [email protected].
