One surprise for those attending Bauma was the use of the event by Sandvik to announce its acquisition of two leading mobile crusher and screen manufactures - Extec and Fintec - for an undisclosed sum. The two acquisitions, subject to regulatory approval, propels Sandvik straight into the top three mobile crusher/screen manufacturers.
