Saying goodbye as President

As the EDA Annual Convention is approaching, in the beautiful city of Venice, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude and reflection. It is time to change roles in the association and to say goodbye as EDA’s President.

These past three years have been a remarkable journey, one that has tested our resilience, shaped our collective vision, and strengthened the foundation of the association.

Now, as my tenure as President comes to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my deepest thanks to everyone who has played a part in this extraordinary experience.

I extend my sincere gratitude to the entire EDA team, our esteemed Board of Directors, the Secretariat, NADECO, and all individuals who have contributed to the advancement of our industry over these years.

Three years that have been especially demanding, and during which we have launched numerous Working Groups, produced several publications like Yearbooks and Guides, and also organised events that have expanded our understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our sector.

Every step of the way, I have been in awe of your hard work, your innovation, and your passion. Moreover, these contributions have laid a solid groundwork for the continued evolution of the industry in Europe and beyond, and I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together.

On a personal note, it is with great joy that I conclude my time as President at the EDA Annual Convention in my home country, Italy. Venice, a city with an enormous history, beauty, and culture, provides the perfect setting for this moment of reflection and transition. Surrounded by colleagues, friends and my whole family who have supported me a lot throughout this journey, I could not imagine a more fitting setting for my farewell.

As I prepare to step down, I see that I leave behind a legacy of collaboration, innovation, and shared ambition. Furthermore, I am confident that the EDA will continue to thrive, always pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve as an industry. With that in mind, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your trust, your partnership, and your dedication.

It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve as your President. I look forward to seeing all that we will continue to accomplish together in the future.

Also, I hope to see you all in Venice for the EDA Annual Convention.

With my deepest gratitude and best wishes,

Stefano Panseri,
EDA President
