Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) offers a full range of high-reach, low-reach and cleanup excavators designed for tough demolition, all with factory-fit guarding packages. Visit us at the World Demolition Summit to learn more.

Volvo CE is once again the headline sponsor of the World Demolition Summit, November 16-17 in Vienna, Austria. Make plans to join us and hear more about the full line of durable, efficient machines and solutions purpose-built for demolition – including our award-nominated Lifting Mode for Multi Demolition Boom, specifically designed for Volvo High Reach machines.

Range of High-Reach Excavators

For tearing it down, Volvo offers a complete range of high-reach excavators with unprecedented power, protection and reach, including the EC380EHR with a max reach of 23,060 mm (75 ft 8 in) and a tool weight capacity of 3,000 kg (6,614 lbs); the EC480EHR with a max reach of 28,140 mm (92 ft 4 in) and a tool weight capacity of 3,500 kg (7,716 lbs); and the largest class size, the EC750EHR, with a max reach of 36,000 mm (118 ft 1 in) and a tool weight capacity of 3,600 kg (7,937 lbs).

New to the industry, Volvo CE has designed and built an innovative solution for the lifting of multi-use demolition machines – Lifting Mode for Multi Demolition Boom – that not only lowers the total cost of ownership, saves time and offers greater flexibility, but most importantly lowers carbon footprint.

New EC300E and EC380E Straight Boom

For demolition contractors looking for high reach while maintaining superior stability and lifting capabilities, the new Volvo EC300EL and EC380EL Straight Booms replace the traditional bent boom approach with a purpose-built straight boom design and matching reinforced arm. For added safety, customers can opt for a remote-controlled version to allow for off-site operation. These demolition-ready excavators offer a significant height advantage over standard models along with outstanding reach, stability, guarding and durability.

Add electric to your business

The tight spaces and lack of ventilation on most indoor demolition jobs can be quite a challenge. The potential exposure of workers to harmful exhaust fumes must be managed with adequate ventilation, which can often be expensive and cumbersome to install. Electric compact machines with zero emissions like our new EC18 Electric excavator are the ideal solution. Add to this their near silent operation and lower vibrations, electric machines are perfect for almost any demolition application.

Demolition-ready clean-up excavators

Volvo offers an impressive lineup of standard excavators as well — from the EC220E to the EC950F — so customers can get the right machines to efficiently clean up their toughest jobs. With frame-mounted FOGs, double-thick doors, debris screens, cylinder protection and more — all factory-fit by Volvo — contractors can take on their toughest demolition jobs with confidence.

From compact equipment to the biggest demolition equipment — even compact electric models — Volvo offers a complete package for the demolition market. With over a decade of experience in demolition, Volvo experts can work with you to get the right machines to increase your safety and profitability.
