Worsley Plant boosts southern UK presence

04 February 2016

The growing pull of London and the south east of England for the United Kingdom’s demolition industry has been further illustrated by the opening of Worsley Plant’s new depot in Essex.

The official opening took place on February 3, when the depot also hosted a regional meeting of the Institute of Demolition Engineers (IDE).

The company, which celebrates 20 years in business this year, is based in Cheshire in the north west of England but it believes the new depot will strengthen its customer focus in the south. From the depot, in Witham, Worsley will offer products from suppliers including MB, Rotar, Remu and Lehnhoff.

Managing director Sean Heron said: “This is a welcome investment for the company. The new depot brings with it a new team to focus on the south of the UK. We are looking to the future and this will be instrumental in growing our business in London and the south.

“We look forward to having a dedicated resource base there, on hand to meet and service our customers’ requirements.”
