Educational events are a big part of the NDA convention

Demolition Austin gets underway on Saturday February 22 but even before it starts there is a “Demolition Superintendent Bootcamp” pre-convention course.

Led by NDA directors Steve Schwartz and Greg Menen, it will cover subjects including planning, communication, people management, safety and job wrap up.

The next day, the Live Demolition site at the event will host a day of hands-on training in maintenance and safety with equipment such as excavators, purlverisers, grapples and shears.
