Inmalo expands demolition attachments range

Inmalo, a specialist supplier of hydraulic excavator attachments in the United Kingdom, has expanded its product offering, adding both MBI Eagle III Shears and Montabert’s redesigned SD Compact Range of hydraulic breakers to its equipment range.

The new range of MBI Eagle III shears, which are manufactured by Italian company Mantovanibenne (MBI), are designed to deliver high power and reliability.

While the MBI range comprises eight models in total, Inmalo will initially offer the SH800R (8,000kg) and SH1500R (15,000kg) shears, which are suitable for use on excavators with operating weights of between 20 and 150 t.

Compared to the Eagle II range - which Inmalo will continue offer, the Eagle III shears incorporate larger cylinders that can work at 380 bar pressure and provide between 25 and 30% more power.

They feature an improved piercing tip that is stronger and covers the end of the jaw to reduce time-consuming rebuilding works. Replaceable armoured plates have also been fitted to the jaw, again to reduce downtime for rebuilding the shear.

In addition to the demolition shears, Inmalo has introduced the SD Compact Breaker range from France-based manufacturer Montabert.

Previously known as the ‘Silverclip’ range, the new SD Compact range has been redesigned with a built-in hose protection system that shields the hose from damage during work and transportation.

The breakers, which are available in eight models for carriers of between 0.7 t and 12 t, incorporate two new lifting points for safer and easier handling.

“The new designed tool retaining system replaces the old ‘Silverclip’ with a robust rubber bung which makes it easier, quicker and safer to replace the tool on site,” said Inmalo, which also described the SD Breaker range as “very much a plug and play” hammer option.

The breakers are designed for easy use and minimal maintenance and can be used with a range of hydraulic oil flows and pressures, and also come with a full two-year warranty.

Inmalo’s Charles Polak said: “Both these product improvements are major development gains which benefit our customers by improving productivity and reducing maintenance costs.

“Clients have been waiting for the upgrades which have been developed through customer feedback. These units have been flying out of our warehouse which is a great testament to these brands.”
